Kunihiro Uchida

Senior Managing Director, International Design Center Nagoya Inc.
Born in Fukuoka. He worked at Toyota Motor Co. Design Department and had designed many awarded car, such as Crown, Mk-2, and Carina. Since 2001, he has stayed in present position. While he has been taking charge of the design consultant for several companies, he gives lectures at educational institutes in Japan, Russia and Taiwan.
Kazuo Kato

Kazuo Kato

In 1952, he was born in Nagoya. He graduated from Meijo University, Faculty of Science & Technology. In 1984, he established Kazuo Kato Contextual Space Institute, Architect & Associates. He is involved in planning, designing and managing for interior, architecture and landscape design.

He graduated in its craft department. He started his carrier as a lecturer in the school from which he graduated, meanwhile he studied at the Royal College of Art, Industrial Design Engineering. After coming back to Japan, he taught as an assistant professor and professor.

Based on my theme of study, design of life equipments affected by the ageing degeneration of body and recognition, I've been improving the inconvenience discovered in daily life. On the other hand, I've been making some self-help devices for disabled person.

Kosuke Kuze

Born in Nagoya in 1976. After graduating from Nagoya Zokei University of Art & Design in industrial design, Kuze joined Nagoya TV. Currently he is responsible for the film production of news programmes and documentaries.

Kouji Sanaka

Urban Industries Promotion Section, Urban Industries Promotion Department, Nagoya Urban Industries Promotion Corporation
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Nagoya Institute of Technology. After working for TERUMO Corporation, he joined Nagoya City Rehabilitation and Sports Center in 1992. He was transferred to Nagoya Welfare Equipment Plaza (Nursing Practice Promotion Center) in 2002. Since 2005, he has been an educational-industrial coordinator in charge of robot industry promotion in next generation.

Shinichi Yamamura

Industrial designer, Design consultant and President, COBO design Co. Ltd. (Nagoya, Japan)
He was born in Osaka in 1942. In 1961, he joined in Mitsubishi Heavy Industries where he had designed automobiles and airplanes. In 1973, he established COBO, one of the most well known design firms in Japan and since then he has been a leading figure in a wide variety of design approaches ranging from transportation design to industrial development and corporate strategies.

Toshiki Ishikawa

After graduating from Ritsumeikan University, College of Business Administration, he is involved in marketing research business such as trend analysis in foreign-affiliated research company. And he is also a student of Tama Art University, product design course.
Saeko Watanabe

Saeko Watanabe

In 2000, she graduated from Nagoya Zokei University of arts and design. After graduating, she worked for the printing company and then, got a new job in the design office of household goods company. Mainly she has been involved in planning, designing and developing of goods for women. Now she is a free-lance graphic designer.
   
Kenji Wada

Kenji Wada

Kenji completed MA course at the Design Academy Eindhoven in Netherlands under DROOG DESIGN. After returning to Japan and working as a freelance designer, he joined an advertising agency. As a design planner, Kenji now develops various activities to share design values in new formats with users by undertaking design direction, concept making and writing.

Yukiya Takakita

Visual designer, President of Nagoya Zokei University.
He was born in Mie in 1950 and graduated from Mie University, faculty of education. He runs Takakita design institute, Space prism designerユs gallery. He hold 35 times of private exhibitions in Nagoya, Tokyo,Spain and Taiwan. He was awarded for environmental design grand prix excellent prize, a design forum '93 bronze medal, and Nagoya-shi cityscape prize.

Tsuyoshi Nagura

Tsuyoshi Nagura

Tsuyoshi Nagura graduated from Nagoya Zokei University of Art & Design in 1998. After graduating, Tsuyoshi have been working as a free-lance designer. From 2002 to 2005, he joined in "N/N", the joint project by Nagoya Zokei University and Nishiharu Town due to its town reviving. He worked for "N/N" as a main graphic designer and a managing staff. His work has been expanded to various fields since then. He produced not only graphical products, but also he designed workshop for kids, exhibitions, 3-D products and even hero characters for Nishiharu Town named "NISHIBARUKAN".
Megumi Suzuki

Megumi Suzuki

In 1995, she graduated from Nagoya University of Arts, School of Design, and was hired by Nagoya Ryuko Hasshin,Inc. After working in editorial company for 2 years, she has been running "Medium" project. As its name, she has been producing various activities to connect people to people, products to products. Besides she is involving in the event in Kakuouzan shopping arcade where holding several events for activating community.

He took part in the creatorsユ market since Vol.1. From vol. 7 he has been working as a member of the secretariat, and now he is in charge of planning, administration, management and DTP.
 
Asami Sugiyama

Asami Sugiyama

After working in apparel business world, she has been involving in the creatorsユ market with Mr. Inagaki. She is in charge of publicity, management and administration. Now she is running a store in Lachic department store in Nagoya.

"Methodology for Ideal Interface"

Robin Huang

Robin Huang

Industrial designer/Associate Professor, Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences
Born in Taiwan. After graduating from National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan), Robin worked for an electronic appliances company before enrolling in the Masterユs Program in Art and Design of University of Tsukuba (Japan) where he became interested in interface design. His specialties are industrial design and interface design. He has worked with the IT industries in Taiwan to develop many 3C products since the 90ユs. Robin was an Associate Professor at Tohoku University of Art & Design before joining Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences in 2003.
Kiyofumi Motoyama

Kiyofumi Motoyama

With visual culture and media as major field of study, Motoyama lectures on information design and media art as associate professor at the Graduate School of Information Science, Nagoya University. He also disseminates the importance of visual literacy to public by planning various symposiums and exhibitions. At his university lab, he studies historical consideration on desktop interface of computers and conducts its experimental developments, among others.

Hideki Yano

Hideki Yano

Lecturer at Tama Art University. Designer. At Mitsubishi Electric Corporation Industrial Design Center, he designs products such as personal computer associated equipment, audio visual equipment, cell phones, air conditioners, cookers, and household electrical appliances, as well as interfaces for car navigators, car audio systems, and machine tools. He discovers the mechanisms of society and communication through plain and user-friendly design for sustaining society and daily life, and put them into practice in design education as experiential learning like workshops. For him, designing after learning the mechanism of things is important, in addition to organizing and expressing information, and the contents.
 
Masako Kitazaki

Masako Kitazaki

After graduating from Musashino Art University's Visual Communication studies program, I belong to Fuji Xerox Human Interfase Design Deveiopment as a designer.At graduation works, I made the device that replaced the color with harmony,and I researched the new relationship about visually handicapped person and colors.Now I design the interface of the PC applications and the touch panels.I think it's important the relationship between information and the environment and the person, is free, and happy.
