Aaris Sherin is an educator, writer and designer. She is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at St. John’s University in Queens, New York. Sherin is a frequent lecturer and speaker at both national and international design conferences. Sherin’s writing has been featured in PRINT Magazine, STEP Inside Design, GroveArt Online (Oxford University Press) and Leonardo (MIT Press). Sherin’s upcoming book, SustainAble: A Handbook of Materials and Applications for Graphic Designers and Their Clients is published by Rockport Publishers. The book will serve as a resource for communication designers looking to adopt sustainable solutions.
